FLAC is COMPRESSED and maybe worse regarding CPU and memory resources.
It seems, that you got confused regarding COMPRESSED and LOSSLESS. FLAC is a “compressed lossless audio codec”.

So what is a decent music codec that could play under GEOS? Is Wav the only one?
